Retire young, retire rich...
I'm reading a book called Retire Young,
Retire Rich. It's a guide in how to use property
investment as one of the best methods in becoming rich. My
friend Peter has been putting me onto the idea of investing in
property, and it's something that I'm seriously planning now.
At the moment, I'm reading books on it, and learning about it.
I feel that I'll buy my first investment property within the
next year. I'm pretty excited about the implications of it
all. Within 10 years, I can be able to retire...
Next week I'm getting my laptop. It's a Compaq EVO N800v,
and it's going to be better than my PC. Which is good,
'cause I'm buying it as a desktop replacement. It's a P4
chip with 256 Mb RAM, 15" screen, 30 Gb hard drive, 64 Mb video
card, and a DVD/CD writer as well. It retails at NZ$5,200
but I'm buying it from work at NZ$3,700. A 30% discount
because it's being bought direct from the supplier...
Woohoo! It's going to be great fun to have it.
Things are getting exciting with Nic too. In fact, just
about everything that's happening in my life is exciting.
Hmmm... I wonder if there's a message in that...
She's getting here next Friday, and spending time together is
something we're both really looking forward to.
